Don started hie journey over 44 years ago by attending cosmetology school in 1966. Early on, Don tested his skills competing in many competitions around the state. He won every competition and in doing so, was awarded the Sunshine Trophy, the most prestigious trophy awarded to cosmetologists at the time. Early on he would travel doing competitions in places like New York and Los Angeles, but being a family man, he turned his focus to something more local.

Don is now semi-retired taking clients two days per week and helping out with the training of our staff, new and old. Now he enjoys running the grandchildren around to practices, games and different events.

His philosophy has always been, Treat all of our guests and employees like family, work hard but enjoy life and always smile.

When he is not behind the chair, Don enjoys fishing, golfing, yoga, spending time with friends and family.

Victoria specializes in color. She has been in the industry for 10 years and has attended the Aveda Institute. Victoria has been with Casa Verde for over 6 years and really enjoys working with Aveda. She is also a color coach and helps train the Pure Talent when they start. Victoria has been doing hair since back in the day to whoever would let her. Hairdressing is in her blood.

Her career philosophy is to do it because you love it, not because its a job. When you enjoy what you do, it makes the time fly by. On top of everything else, Victoria is really good at putting things together, and figuring out how things work.

When she is not trying to put something together, or working in the salon, she enjoys shopping with her daughter and having cookouts in the backyard for her family and friends.

Diane specializes in color, waxing, skin care, and Aveda. She has 3 years of cosmetology, and is also a certified color educator.

Her career philosophy is to be there before you are there. Diane has a great sense of humor and is a nurturing animal lover.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, attending music festivals, and just living.

Erin worked at Super Cuts for over 5 years and has been with Casa Verde since 2006. She also attended the Aveda Institute from 2001 to 2002.

Erin's career philosophy is believing simply in continuous education. She loves what she does and every part of the entire field.

When she's not at work, Erin loves spending time with her family.

At Casa Verde Since 2008, Dena specializes in spa body treatments, waxing, current trends, and men and women's cuts. She received her cosmetology license in 2006 and has 2 years of salon reception experience. She has 3 years behind her at Casa Verde doing cosmetology. Dena has also completed an 8 month Aveda training program and is currently continuing her education with 12 additional classes including make up, product, body work, color, and hair cutting. On top of these accomplishments, she is also an experienced perm technician.

Her career philosophy is to "Make it work!" and to bring out the beautiful in everyone from head to toe. Dena is a great creative problem solver, a very team-oriented multi-tasker, and extremely easy to get along with.

When she is not juggling all the tasks of classes and work, Dena enjoys antiquing, church, shopping, crafts, design, wine, movies, a wide variety of music, and most of all, her family.

Denise is a master talent stylist. She enjoys cutting, coloring, and highlights. She has been doing hair since 2007 and with Casa Verde since 2009. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. She also enjoys the outdoors. Continuing education is very important; not only does she keep up with the latest trends but it keeps her technique sharp. “Love what you do because if you don’t it seems too much like work.”

Sophia specializes in color, cuts, and waxing. She has been in the business for over 5 years and graduated from CNM. 

She and her husband own an award winning tattoo studio, King’s Kreation, located in the heart of downtown. She aspires to be an animal farmer and is a big supporter in Animal Rights, 2009. Sophia enjoys dancing, trivia, and video games.

April has been with Casa Verde 2010. She attended the Aveda Institute of New Mexico. She enjoys cutting, especially long hair, and color. April is also a makeup artist and it is one of her passions. She likes Hello Kitty, shoe shopping, and spending time with her friends and family

April has been with Casa Verde since 2011. She has been doing hair for 10 years. She graduated from Olympian University. She specializes in pin up hair styles, color, and makeup. She also does manicures and pedicures. April loves spending time with her family and her pets. She is an animal lover and her interests include pin up culture, tattoos, 40’s-50’s hair, make up and zombies!

Felina has been with Casa Verde since 2011. She has been doing hair for 5 years, 2 of which have been professionally. She loves what she does and it shows through her work. Felina’s motto is “You were born an original, don’t die a copy.” A huge animal lover and human rights activist, she hopes to one day change the world and leave a positive mark.

Kim has been with Casa Verde since February of 2011. She enjoys cutting and coloring hair. Her passion is doing up-dos, especially for special occasions. She spends her free time taking care of her two children, baking, and doing arts and crafts.
